PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization.
What does PTO do for our school? Our Rose Hill PTO helps pay for so many behind the scene services including:
* Buses for field trips * Intramural sports
* Free family events * Classroom movie license
* Teacher appreciation * Scholastics in the classroom
* Classroom support * Many, many more
What else does PTO do for our school? We plan and organize events such as the Spooktacular, Scholastic book fair, The Family Dance, Family Movie Night, Art/Fair Game Night and the Spring Fun Run.
Does the PTO fund raise? Yes! This year we have teamed up with Jaq Fundraisers for our Fall Fundraising and in the spring we will have our annual Fun Run.
Is there a cost to join PTO and how do I get involved? There is NO cost to be involved with PTO. Any parent/guardian or family member of a Rose Hill student can volunteer to help with the PTO. Our group meets once a month to discuss PTO ran events, plan fundraisers and share ideas. This is a great way to find out what is happening at our school and to get to know other Rose Hill families.Anyone can join.
We in the PTO believe that it is the ultimate importance that parents do everything we can to enhance the learning environment of our children as they truly are our future. It will take all of us working together to ensure that this happens. We look forward to getting to know you and hope we do all we can to make you feel welcome!
PTO meets the 1st Tuesday of each month. Keep an eye out on the Rose Hill Rambler for dates & times.
