I have always loved reading and consider books a way to travel to faraway places, turn strangers into friends, and investigate any idea that my mind can imagine. I devoted fifteen years to teaching fifth and sixth grades before I became a librarian. I earned my Library Specialization from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, as well as my Master's Degree in 2019. I am married and have one daughter, one granddaughter, and one grandson. My husband and I enjoy riding around the country on our Harley Davidson each summer. The main goal I strive for is to visit as many National Parks as possible in my lifetime. I also enjoy music, swimming, camping, kayaking and any outdoor activity.
I think that any child can and will learn in a warm and supportive environment. It is my job to create that safe and positive place for students to flourish, learn to love literature, and investigate a world of topics.
Rules & Expectations
In order for students to succeed, we must follow rules. I ask that those who enter our library remain respectful, safe, and responsible. This means having respect for yourself, others, and the materials in the library. I welcome our students and families to visit our library regularly!
